Nicaragua trip – Workers’ safety and protection. In our trip in Nicaragua we had the chance to meet sugar cane workers as well as workers in a tile making craft and monitor their exposure to the heat in the context of these very demanding manual labour conditions! This was an enlightening experience that motivates us to continue doing research on workers’ safety and protection by the increasing climate challenges!
